I need two crowns on my teeth and got an estimate from my dentist for almost $1,600.00. Can i purchase dental insurance that will help cover the cost of this. if so, is there a waiting period before I can get the work done or will it cover it right away? Do you know of a good dental insurance that I can purchase privately?

My husbands company has Medical Insurance and Vision but NO Dental. He is a Diabetic and it is very important to have Dental care.

I have insurance that is self-funded through my work, but it only has $1,000 a year in allowance.
