:  It is very difficult to find individual dental coverage. Keep in mind too that even when an insurance policy covers orthdontics, often there is an age limit and a lifetime maximum they will pay out of between $1000 and $1500. Depending on your orthdontic plan and where you live, some orthodontic plans cost as much as 3000-4000. The good news is most will make payment arrangements of the the time of treatment (usually 2-3 years).
