Looking for Dental Insurance for GF?
Currently my gf has no type of insurance. She just started a new job, but it will be 3 months before she is able to get on the companies insurance. I am looking for some opinions on some dental insurance you guys use.
I took a look at Ameriplan and dentalplans.com, but apparently those are just mlm scams and the discounts are not that great. Thanks for any help.

emmalue: You are correct about Ameriplan and other "dental discount plans" as they are not regulated and if you are unsatisfied, you have no recourse.
A routine exam and cleaning should not cost more than $200 at a private practice, and could be less at a community dental clinic. Call the local dental society to ask about low cost dental services.
This should tide her over until her insurance becomes active in 3 months.
There are no reasonable individual dental plans. Unfortunately, in the US, healthcare is only available to the imporverished, or those who are well-employed.
