Cancer risk with dental implants?
Cancer risk with dental implants?
I went to two dentists. One said implants may be linked to cancer and the other said that implants are very safe. Any dentists/dental assistants here who know or have an opinion?

It doesn't make sense no matter how you think about it. There are no carcinogenic materials used in implants. And don't you think there would be some concern at the FDA about it if true?

dentalcare32: Dental Implants are titanium which is considered biocompatible. There are no reports or case(s) linking implants to cancer. You may better take the rumourmongers to task. You may go ahead and get one or more if considering for yourself.
